Fabulous place, so efficient stuff. Large bedroom. Stunning and great location, local area, next to a lovely Scottish castle with charming villages nearby, and the gardens which are beautiful. Very good service with delicious cooking.

Really enjoyed my fun stay on our Scotland road trip. The room was a nice size and huge, included with the garden, open fireplace, as for instance. Everything was perfectly organised. All the staff were very amiable, exceptionally attentive. The location was amazing yet it was close to downtown area, just 10 minutes by foot.

The hotel is spotless, has views over the garden and beyond to the sea. The units are well-appointed with open fireplace. The setting is amazing and marvellous, very close to the Glenapp castle, the garden and Ailsa Craig beyond and the main tourist area near Inverness or Edinburgh, lovely area. Overall excellent food, plus there is Revolution close by.

The total stay was excellent with the best service. All of the staff was genuinely friendly and amicable. The beds were big, the room was beautifully designed and tidy with open fireplace an a splendid view. The restaurant was really nice, well presented food. Everything was exceptional and met requirements.

Fabulous and spotless place to stay in, it has pleasant and outstandingly accommodating staff in such a friendly manner that you feel right at home. Stunning and great setting, it's not far from the castles and Galloway and Ayrshire. Would be happy to recommend this hotel in Ballantrae.

Everything was perfectly organised, absolutely courteous staff, spectacular views of the ocean and the gardens. We booked neat and tastefully decorated room. We got a bath too. It was in a remote setting by ferry to Scotland. Further, it was short walk to the main tourist area, the castle by Andreas, an assistant manager who is extremely charming and the Ballantrae beach.

I had special days staying at this rustic hotel. Liked my 2 nights stay. It was well-appointed with great views, good enough for a relaxing break. The personnel were very attentive. The location was amazing and fab, up to the big event.
